The hotel is open all year round – bookings can be made in both summer and winter. Seasonal special packages can be found on our website.

We recommend at least 2 nights so that you have time to enjoy the spa area, the cuisine, and the surroundings at your leisure. For wellness or activity weeks, 4–7 nights are ideal.

The Nesslerhof opened in 2011 and has been consistently developed further, with extensions in 2016 and 2023. Today, the hotel offers 5-star comfort, modern architecture, and alpine naturalness in perfect balance.

Your room will be available from 3 pm. on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, we will be happy to invite you to enjoy a welcome drink in our lobby until your room is ready.

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am. at the latest. If you would like to stay longer, you have the option of continuing to use our spa area on the day of departure for an additional fee.

You are welcome to arrive in the morning on your arrival day and enjoy your first day of vacation, as well as book an arrival breakfast for €35.

On the day of departure, you can continue to enjoy the spa area for an additional fee of € 30.00 per person (children up to 12 years: € 15.00).

If your room is not yet ready upon early arrival, our changing room with lockers is available for your use. 

Our “fi­nesse” breakfast is served daily from 7:30 to 10:30 am.

The indoor pool is open daily from 6:00 am. to midnight. The outdoor pool is open from 7:00 am. to 7:30 pm.

The adults-only area of the spa is open from 11:00 am. to 7:30 pm. A place of tranquility for guests aged 16 and over.

We serve our 5-course “Raffinesse Dinner” daily from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. For special requests or earlier seating, please contact us in advance.

Cancellations must be made in writing, for example by email or post. This ensures that all formalities are clearly documented – we are happy to help you with this.

Cancellations made 6 days or less prior to arrival will incur an 80 % fee.

Cancellations made between 13 and 7 days prior to arrival will incur a 50 % fee.

In case of no-show or early departure, 90 % will be charged.

Free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before arrival (0 % fees).

You can pay with cash, debit card, or bank transfer. All common payment methods are available.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and EuroCard. If you have any questions about card acceptance, please contact the reception desk.

We allow dogs up to a shoulder height of 50 cm. This is to ensure a comfortable atmosphere for all guests.

The surcharge for a dog is €30 per day. We only ask that you notify us in advance.

Dogs are not permitted in the following room categories: “Bauchgefühl” double rooms, ‘Bergblick’ double rooms, and “Engelsraum” family rooms. They are also not permitted in the general hotel areas such as the wellness area, Living Garden with natural swimming pond, restaurant, and bar area.

In all other categories (unless mentioned above), you are welcome to bring your dog with you – please reserve the appropriate room.

The hotel is nestled in the picturesque Austrian Alps in the Grossarl Valley, known as the Valley of Alpine Pastures.

You are staying right next to the ski-in/ski-out area, with the “Kieserl” gondola lift located directly opposite the hotel. Perfect for winter guests – just strap on your skis and off you go.

Car: Take the Tauern motorway to the Bischofshofen exit → Großarl → Unterbergstraße.

Train: The nearest major train stations are in St. Johann im Pongau, Bischofshofen, or Salzburg. Continue by taxi or shuttle.

Airplane: Salzburg Airport is the nearest option (approx. 75 km away).

We are happy to organize an airport transfer for you – please ask in advance.

Free underground parking is available in the building. You will also find charging stations for electric cars.

Yes, in cooperation with the local ski school, there is a ski course shuttle that conveniently picks up children directly at the hotel and brings them back after the course.
